It all started on the island of Lido in Zemun, on a summer day in the early 1990's. A group of youngsters went into the woods, cut two threes, stuck them in sand, placed the net between, and started to play beach volleyball.

Limasol Open (CYP) - Ivan Bugarcic and Vladimir Knezevic win the tournament.

FIVB Challenger – Palinuro (ITA), 7th place for Sinisa Antonic and Nikola Vucic.
FIVB Challenger – St. Jean des Monts (FRA), Sinisa Antonic and Nikola Vucic take 9th place.

Swatch FIVB World Tour in Budva (SCG). The winners are Ricardo and Emanuel from Brazil. Serbian teams Ivan Bugarcic/Vladislav Mandic and Dejan Stanojcic/Slobodan Kovac finished 25th in the Main draw.
CEV Challenger - Zagreb (CRO). Four teams representing Serbia - Bugarcic/Mandic, Ilic/Jovic, Jovanovic/Veckov take 17th place, Kovac/Stanojcic finished 26th
Kerinia Cup - Limasol (CYP) - Gold for Ivan Bugarcic and Dusan Ilic
2003
CEV Challenger – Zagreb (CRO), Ivan Bugarcic and Slobodan Kovac came out on 5th place whilst Dejan Stanojcic and Ivan Vladisavljevic finished 13th.
2002
Novi Sad hosts first international event in Serbia, with participants from Cyprus, Croatia and Romania. It is won by Ivan Vladisavljevic and Branislav Jovanic.
2001
European Cup in Prague (CZE) - Bojana Radulovic and Ana Mozgon ended 5th.
2000
